What happens to pages and EPUBs I upload?
Page images are sent to Gemini only to create your response. EPUBs are opened in your browser. On this website, a passage beginning at 5% of the book is selected, and only that excerpt is uploaded to Gemini—never the entire book. This website does not save your uploads.
Can I use Homescreen Reader without AI?
Yes. No AI mode removes Bea and Clarifier, which use Gemini. The widget, on-device voices, dictionaries, PDF conversion, and the rest of the offline reading tools remain available.
Which features work offline?
Core reading, the Homescreen Widget, PagePatter voices, dictionaries, vocabulary tools, and PDF conversion are designed to work on-device. Bea and Clarifier need a connection.
What’s included in the 14-day free trial?
You can try Bea, Clarifier, PagePatter 6000, and Conch Shell for 14 days. After that, a subscription is $4/month. The Dollhouse is not included in the trial.
What does a subscription unlock?

Choose the iPhone or Android beta on this page. TestFlight and Google Play testing links will be added separately as soon as public enrollment opens.
